The ACEC Virginia Emerging Leaders Institute is a premier training program designed to expand participants' understanding of key business practices essential to navigating the engineering industry. This program provides emerging leaders with a unique opportunity to explore critical topics not typically covered in academic or technical training but vital for a firm's growth and long-term success.
Taught by industry leaders and business experts, the Emerging Leaders Institute equips participants with the skills and insights needed to enhance their value within their firms and the engineering profession. The program is limited to 30 participants and is tailored for professionals with approximately ten years of experience across various disciplines.

An Investment in the Future
The investment for the Emerging Leaders Institute is $2,650 for ACEC Virginia members and $5,000 for non-members. This fee includes:
Participants who complete the program will earn a leadership training certificate and be recognized at the 2027 ACEC Virginia Summer Conference, to be held at Hotel Roanoke from June 9-11, 2027. The program provides up to 41 Professional Development Hours (PDHs).
Please note: Travel, overnight accommodations, and optional activities are the responsibility of the participant or their firm.
